Remington Rifle Trigger Defect Document Repository
The Remington Document Repository can best be utilized with either of the 2 methods defined below.
Method 1
This method is a simple navigation method. The repository was designed in such a way to segregate the documents into chunks of 1000. This navigation can be performed using the folder tree on the left side of the screen (see screenshot below):
Within this tree, there are 14 top level folders. Under each of those top levels, there are 10 sub folders. Within each of the sub folders, there are 1000 documents. Clicking on the title of the tertiary sub folders (IE: Folder 1000), will return a subset of the documents contained within that folder. You can then simply select a document from the right pane, and then view that document.
Once you have located a document of interest (IE: AL_3000.pdf), simply click its name to bring up its dedicated page. You will then be presented with an option on the right to either download the document to your local PC, or view the document online. For all documents, Adobe Acrobat Reader will be required as all the documents in the repository are in pdf format.
Method 2
The alternative way to use this document repository is to perform a search with a keyword. The search function is located at the top of the page.
Simply enter a search term that you would like to find within the documents. Please be advised that searching for simple terms such as of, and, it or similar terms WILL take an extraordinary amount of time to process. The site will appear unresponsive with large queries, but will render the results eventually.
Once the subset of data has been presented, simply click on the name of the document you want to review and you will be presented with the ability to either download the document, or view the document online.
